ABOUT DR. RANDLEMAN
Dr. Randleman says, "I am a passionate physician and surgeon engaged in the practice of medicine. I have a robust research mission in the identification and management of keratoconus, including corneal cross-linking, and cataract and refractive surgery technology development and outcomes. I have the wonderful opportunity to lecture around the world to educate and interact with my peers and the next generation of ophthalmologists in training.

Outside of work I am loving husband and father to amazing daughters. My passion outside of work is travel and landscape photography."

BIOGRAPHY
​
J. Bradley Randleman, MD received his BA degree from Columbia University in New York City, his medical degree from Texas Tech University School of Medicine in Lubbock, Texas, where he was elected to the Alpha Omega Alpha medical honor society in his junior year, followed by his ophthalmology residency and cornea and refractive surgery fellowship at Emory University. Dr. Randleman joined the Cleveland Clinic Cole Eye Institute in 2019 after leaving the Keck School of Medicine of USC, where he was Professor of Ophthalmology and Director of the Cornea & Refractive Surgery Service at the USC Roski Eye Institute. Prior to USC, Dr, Randleman was the John H. and Helen S. Hughes Professor of Ophthalmology and Director of the Cornea, External Disease, & Refractive Surgery Section at Emory University. A widely respected cornea specialist, his primary research focuses on identification and management of corneal ectasia after LASIK, and the avoidance, diagnosis and management of refractive surgical complications.

Dr. Randleman serves as editor-in-chief for the Journal of Refractive Surgery. The premier peer-reviewed journal in this subspecialty, a position he has held since 2011. Prior to that, Dr. Randleman was associate editor for the Journal of Refractive Surgery and associate editor for the Journal of Cataract and Refractive Surgery in the review article section from 2008-2011.
